Shortsville man charged with possessing cocaine

On April 7th Luis A. Gonzales, 28, of Shortsville was stopped in Manchester for traffic violations. During the traffic stop he was found to be in possession of cocaine and a significant amount of U.S. currency.

After a brief investigation it was determined that Gonzales intended to sell the cocaine to another person and was subsequently charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

He was remanded to the Ontario County Jail.
