A convicted sex offender who was wanted by the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office has been located.
Sean P. Starr, 50, was arrested Friday night in Canandaigua, according to the sheriff’s office. He was arraigned in Sennett Town Court and is being held in the Cayuga County Jail without bail.
Cayuga County Sheriff David Gould says Starr failed to notify authorities of several changes. He is a Level 3 sex offender and failed to notify authorities of his residence and location, as required by New York State law.
He was believed to be in the Canandaigua area. His last known address was on Mutton Hill Rd. in Sennett.
