Civic flips twice in Ontario Co. crash; second driver who caused accident doesn’t stop

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Wednesday around 7:46 am deputies responded to a crash on County Road 30.

Deputies say that Debora Trillaud, 56, of Canandaigua was traveling west on County Road 30 when a vehicle turning east onto the roadway from New Michigan Road drove into the path of her vehicle.

She avoided the collision with the vehicle but she lost control of her vehicle as she attempted to return to her lane. The car left the highway, struck an embankment, and mailbox — then overturned twice before striking a fence and coming to a rest.

Trillaud was wearing a seat belt and suffered minor injuries. She was transported to F.F. Thompson Hospital for treatment.

The other vehicle involved did not stop and several witnesses say it continued eastbound.
