Seneca Falls man charged with DWI after traffic stop

On Thursday at 12:57 am the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Daren S. Kettle, 29, of Seneca Falls following a traffic stop on East Bayard Street Extension.

Police stopped Kettle after the vehicle he was operating was observed moving from the lane unsafely and failing to keep right.

Following the traffic stop an investigation deemed that Kettle was operating a motor vehicle while his license was suspended and while intoxicated by alcohol.

He was charged with the following; Failure to Keep Right, a traffic infraction; Moving from Lane Unsafely, a traffic infraction; Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a violation; Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd degree, DWI, Driving with 0.08% or more BAC and Aggravated DWI, all misdemeanors.

He was processed and released with appearance tickets. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on March 9th, 2017 at 10:00 am.
