Sipp trial, day two: Investigator gives testimony

Don Sipp’s attorney wants to convince a jury that another person could have attacked Sipp’s estranged girlfriend and injured Sipp as well last spring.

The lead investigator in the case isn’t buying it. The testimony of Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Inv. Melinda Marquart came Wednesday on the third day of Sipp’s trial in county court. Sipp is accused of attacking Jamelle Callon after she packed up his clothes following their breakup.
