Auburn officials spoke Wednesday to the progress that’s been made with several initiatives, including the redevelopment of a vacant State Street lot and ongoing plans for a downtown regional tourism center.
The lot at 1-7 State St. — once targeted as the project site for a performing arts center — will be recommended for use as a space for public gathering under the city’s ownership, Jennifer Haines said Wednesday.
