Manchester woman arrested after unprescribed pill falls out of pocket during investigation

On Friday around 1:05 am deputies in Ontario County arrested a 28-year-old Manchester woman after she was found to be possessing a controlled substance during a domestic incident investigation.

Deputies say that Rebecca A. Erb, 28, of Manchester was arrested for seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after they responded to investigate a domestic incident that Erb had been involved in.

While deputies were speaking with Erb about the incident, a pill fell out of her hooded sweatshirt, which was later identified as Alprazolam, a controlled substance.

Erb admitted that she did not have a prescription for the drug. She was arrested and transported to the Ontario County Jail and will answer the charge in Manchester Town Court at a later date.
