State Police say a Sodus man was killed after his car collided with a tree on State Route 88 Monday night around 9:45 pm in Arcadia.
They say Thomas Knepp, 30, of Sodus was traveling south on State Route 88 at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his vehicle and left the west shoulder of the road. His vehicle struck a ditch and became airborne. It then collided with a tree before coming to rest.
Knepp was pronounced dead at the scene by Wayne County Coroner Dr. David Hannon.
State Police say the investigation is ongoing.
