14-year-old accused of forcibly touching employee at facility in Varick

Seneca County Sheriff Tim Luce says a 14-year-old male was arrested in Varick after he allegedly forcibly touched an employee at a residential facility.

The minor allegedly applied pressure to the throat and neck area of an employee at a residential facility in Varick while touching intimate parts of their body, according to deputies. The incident happened around 11:30 pm on Monday.

The 14-year-old was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, forcible touching, and third-degree menacing.

Appearance tickets were issued and the charges will be answered in Seneca County Family Court at a later date.
