New York Apple Association leader retiring in Victor

He was raised on a potato farm in central New York, but when people speak of Jim Allen, it’s apples that come to mind. Allen, 65, is retiring as president and CEO of the New York Apple Association, a group he joined in 1996 and has led since 2000. “I’m going to miss all of it,” said Allen from the association’s headquarters in Fishers. “I really enjoyed the industry.”
