Two women in Wayne County were attacked by coyotes, according to deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
The attacks both happened on Sunday, and deputies are unsure if either of the attacks were related or by the same dog. Deputies do report that the animal involved in one of the attacks was killed and is being tested for rabies.
A dog was also bit in one of the attacks, according to police. The two women were hurt and treated after the incidents. Both women were residents of Wolcott.
