Waterloo woman charged with grand larceny after allegedly stealing from Junius business

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on September 28th at approximately 10:28 am investigators arrested Bryanna L. Trickler, 24, of Waterloo on charges related to altering business records in Junius.

Trickler was charged with grand larceny in the third degree, two counts of falsifying business records in the first degree, two counts of petit larceny and criminal possession of a controlled substance seventh degree.

The arrest stems from an investigation at a Town of Junius business where investigators allege that Trickler was stealing from the business’s bank deposits dating back to the beginning of June 2016.

She is accused of stealing more than $13,000 from the business while employed there. The falsifying business records and petit larceny charges relate to Trickler entering false returns in the business computer and stealing the money.

These incidents took place on September 24th as well as September 27th. The total of the cash taken was over $300. During the time of arrest, Trickler, was in possession of Suboxone, which she did not have a prescription for leading to the criminal possession of a controlled substance charge.

She was arraigned in the Town of Junius Court and was committed to the Seneca County Jail on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 insured bond. Trickler will re appear in the Town of Junius Court on October 3rd at 7 pm for a felony hearing.
