Governor Andrew Cuomo announced the opening Thursday of the new Canandaigua Road bridge over the Erie Canal in Macedon. The $4.3 million project reopens a link between Macedon’s residential and business districts and is expected to see about 5,000 vehicles each day.
The Governor hailed it as part of the state’s wider $21.1 billion investment in road and bridge infrastructure.
