On September 25th deputies in Ontario County arrested Matthew Bruce Carl, 34, of Rushville after he allegedly punched a female in the Town of Rushville.
The altercation violated an order of protection and took place around 10:28 pm, according to deputies.
Carl left the scene on foot and was located a short time later. Yates County deputies assisted with the search, with the help Ontario County K9, as well.
He will answer the charges at a later date.
