27th annual Hunt Country Harvest Festival is this weekend

The Hunt Family will be hosting their 27th annual Harvest Festival at Hunt Country Vineyards on Saturday, October 1 (10:00 am to 6:00 pm) and Sunday, October 2 (11:00 am to 5:00 pm). There will be wine, food trucks, live music, workshops with the Hunt Country winemaking team, grape stomping, hay wagon rides, pumpkin painting, craftspeople and artists. Admission is free. Standard wine tasting is free too. Visitors will only pay for the other activities, wine and food that they enjoy.

“Extended families – from New England and Pennsylvania and all over Western New York – will meet here for the day as an annual tradition,” says Art.

The workshops with Jon Hunt (director of winemaking) and Brian Barry (head winemaker) give folks the chance to really experience the connection between the land and the wine. Participants will be tasting grape varieties straight off the vine and the wines that are made from them.
