The Canandaigua Police Department reports that a 25-year-old man was arrested for engaging in sexual intercourse with a 16-year-old girl.
On September 14th at approximately 6 pm officers charged Jurrell J. Thompson, 25, of no permanent address with rape in the third degree.
Jurrell is accused of having sexual intercourse with a 16-year-old female at a residence on South Main Street in early-September. He was arraigned in Ontario County Court and remanded to the Ontario County Jail in lieu of bail.
