Two men were hospitalized in East Bloomfield on Wednesday after a two car crash on State Route 5.
Deputies from Ontario County along with East Bloomfield Fire and Ambulance responded to State Route 5 in the Town of East Bloomfield fro the report of a two car crash.
Deputies say William Santana, 67, of Geneseo was traveling west on State Route 5 in his 2001 Toyota Rav 4 when he attempted to make a u-turn, turning in the path of a vehicle operated by Ronald Patterson. Patterson, 53, of Canandaigua was traveling west on State Route 5 in his 1998 Chevrolet Prism.
Both parties were transported to F.F. Thompson Hospital for treatment. Their condition is unknown. Santana was charged with improper u-turn and failure to use designated lane. He will answer the charges at a later date.
