The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit arrested five people between June 3rd and June 8th in connection to the sale and distribution of illicit drugs throughout Seneca County communities. The drug sweep was the culmination of a 10 month investigation.The follow arrests were made:Raymond J. Anderson, 24, of Lodi was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree — a class B felony. Anderson allegedly sold a quantity of heroin in the Village of Ovid. Anderson was arraigned in the Ovid Town Court and was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 insurance bond.Calvin L. Butler, 42, of Geneva was charged with two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree — class B felonies, and two counts criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree. Butler allegedly sold a quantity of crack cocaine on two separate occasions while in the Village of Waterloo. Butler will later appear in Waterloo Village Court to answer the charges. Both the Geneva Police Department and the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office assisted in this investigation.Timothy M. Anderson, 23, of Waterloo was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree — a class B felony, as well as criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree — also a class B felony. Anderson allegedly sold a quantity of heroin in the Village of Waterloo. He was arraigned in Waterloo Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $2,000 cash bail, or $4,000 insurance bond.James A. Hennigan, 21, of Waterloo was charged with sale of an imitation controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor. Allegedly Hennigan sold a substance portrayed as heroin in the Village of Waterloo. Hennigan was released on an appearance ticket and is to appear in Waterloo Village Court to answer the charges on July 13th at 5 pm. Patrick O. Snider, 42, of Lyons was charged with five counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree — class B felonies, four counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree — class B felonies, and unlawful possession of marijuana. Snider allegedly possessed crack cocaine on five separate dates and sold crack cocaine on four separate occasions in the Town of Waterloo. Snider was arraigned in Waterloo Town Court and was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on no bail.The Narcotics Unit was assisted by members of the Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol Division, as well as the New York State Police and the Wayne County Narcotics Enforcement Team.
