TCAT’s operations team will be in the field now through Wednesday night to monitor road conditions and track potential route delays that will be posted to www.tcatbus.com as soon as possible.Poor rush-hour road conditions Tuesday morning prompted a number of route delays and TCAT apologizes for the inconvenience. With even more severe weather in the forecast for tonight and tomorrow, TCAT asks that its passengers tune in tomorrow morning to any of the following radio stations: WHCU 870 AM (also broadcast via 95.9 FM); WYXL 97.3 FM; WQNY 103.7 FM; WIII 99.9 FM; and WNYY 1470 AM. The stations broadcast TCAT’s transit reports starting at 6:30 a.m., which are compiled by TCAT’s operations team. The information is also posted on those radio stations’ various web sites listed at www.cayugaradiogroup.com.TCAT will also be feeding weather‑related information to the Ithaca Journal web site at www.theithacajournal.com, which the newspaper updates frequently. TCAT will also send updates to a number of other media outlets in the region.Passengers are asked to stay tuned, plan accordingly and dress warmly.
