It’s been a tricky storm for forecasters, as many have been this season, but the National Weather Service is holding on with their Winter Storm Warnings and Advisories, as of midnight. A Lake Effect Snow Advisory is active for Northern Cayuga, Monroe, Onondaga, and Wayne counties from 4 pm on Wednesday through Thursday at 7 pm. It might feel more like mid-spring in the Finger Lakes this weekend, as temperatures rise into the 50s on Saturday before cooling down slightly on Sunday. The cool down will still leave temperatures about 10 degrees above normal for most of the region. However, a more pro-longed warmup is expected next week.
