The Wayne County woman accused of setting lovers on fire has been sentenced to three years in prison. Darlene Humby of Newark was sentenced yesterday on second degree assault charges after lighting a sex partner on fire in December. After originally pleading not guilty, Humby changed her plea, avoiding a trial. Humby’s victim suffered second and third degree burns.   more

Three Pennsylvania men have been arrested and charged with stealing annhydrous ammonia fertilizer from a Cayuga County farm. The ammonia is used to make methamphetamine.
