The Midlakes Screaming Eagles baseball team cruised past the Newark Reds to capture the Section V Class B baseball championship on Saturday in Canandaigua.
Midlakes jumped out to a 3-0 lead after the top of the first and the Reds left bases loaded in the bottom half of the opening inning. The Screaming Eagles never looked back, and continued to add more runs in almost every inning on route to a 15-2 victory.
