Members of the Canandaigua Police Department arrested a 36-year-old city resident on sex abuse charges after an investigation into an incident that happened on Sunday.
Police say around 3:20 pm on Sunday Adam C. Tyler, of Canandaigua subjected a female victim to sexual contact by forcible compulsion.
He was subsequently arrested at 10:41 pm on the same day for first-degree sex abuse.
Tyler was remanded to the Ontario County Jail where he was arraigned on the charge on Monday.
