A Lyons man was flown to Strong Memorial Hospital after his motorcycle struck a deer early Friday morning. The accident occurred around 5:19 am, according to deputies.Gregory Learn, 41, of Lyons was operating his 2013 Yamaha motorcycle when he struck a deer on Gifford Road in Phelps. He suffered a head injury, which he was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital to treat by Mercy Flight. No further information about his condition is available at this time. However, the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports that he is being treated for his head injury at this time.
