Larceny in progress call leads to one arrest at Eastview Store

Deputies say a 29-year-old Rochester woman was arrested on larceny charges at the Eastview Mall last week after authorities were called for an incident in progress.

Deputies were called to Von Maur for a larceny in progress; and upon arrival it was determined that Kathryn L. Barber, 29, of Rochester was in possession of stolen merchandise from the store.



The merchandise was worth $309, according to deputies. Shew as placed in custody for petit larceny, possessing burglar tools, and resisting arrest.

The charges will be answered in Victor Town Court at a later date. She was transported to the Ontario County Jail for processing.
