The Cayuga County Health Department is advising neighbors to get their flu shots ahead of flu season.
In October, the Department will be hosting two different flu clinics:
Wednesday. October 17th
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Town of Sterling Municipal Offices
Friday, October 19th
From 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Cayuga County Health Dept. Offices, 8 Dill St., Sterling
For all of these, walk-in’s are welcome, but appointments are preferred.
There is also flu shots available at the department’s weekly immunization clinics.
The Health Department reminds neighbors that children and seniors at most at risk during flu season:
children are more likely to get the flu, while seniors are more likely to die from it.
