The Buffalo Bills did the expected Tuesday and signed veteran free-agent quarterback Derek Anderson to mentor rookie starter Josh Allen, but surprisingly they decided to go with three quarterbacks.
To make room for Anderson on their 53-man roster, the Bills released safety Dean Marlowe, meaning they are keeping incumbent backup quarterback Nathan Peterman.
