Remembering 9/11 around the region

It was 17 years ago this Tuesday –September 11, 2001–that the twin towers of the World Trade Center fell, the Pentagon was attacked, and a jet, also hijacked by terrorists, crashed in Shanksville, Pennsylvania as passengers aboard took action.
This year, again, many Central NY communities hold remembrances and memorial services. Here is a partial listing (all welcome your participation):

>Syracuse: 17 minutes of Silence

(17 minutes is the time between the first and second jets’ strikes at the World Trade Center)

>Oswego: Dawn Procession
Bridge Street, between East 3rd & West 1st
Team RWB runners, followed by area first responders (lights, no sirens)

24×7 until next weekend
