It was 17 years ago this Tuesday –September 11, 2001–that the twin towers of the World Trade Center fell, the Pentagon was attacked, and a jet, also hijacked by terrorists, crashed in Shanksville, Pennsylvania as passengers aboard took action.
This year, again, many Central NY communities hold remembrances and memorial services. Here is a partial listing (all welcome your participation):
