The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for Ontario County as a storm slowly move through, dumping torrential rain with it.
It comes with the larger threat of strong or severe thunderstorms, which will persist through the evening hours.
The National Weather Service noted that a strong thunderstorm was producing very heavy rainfall, with over an inch of rain in 30 minutes or less. Winds were also blowing in excess of 40 mph.
A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for the entire region until midnight.
