Their training camp kickoff news conference should have been as light as the breeze wafting through the media tent at St. John Fisher College.
You know, softballs they could hit out of the park.
Because the media isn’t all bad, Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane and coach Sean McDermott did get their share of lob pitches Thursday.
However, most of their time in the batter’s box was spent facing chin-high fastballs regarding running back LeSean McCoy and the ongoing police investigation into the beating and robbery of his ex-girlfriend in a home outside Atlanta that he owns and they once shared.
