When it comes to getting a job after college graduation, you can’t do much better than Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
In fact, in New York, they’re tops.
HWS has been named the number one institution in New York and fifth in a national ranking, according to a study by the career search and employment services company Zippia.
Zippia considered job placement ratings in each state and determined that with about 95 percent of students in careers, Hobart and William Smith ranks among the “best of the best” when it comes to grads getting jobs after leaving the liberal arts institution.
“Our students graduate with a robust interdisciplinary education and a strong network of support, which are key to the continued success we see across class years and majors,” said Interim President Patrick McGuire. “Our programs in career preparation and hands-on learning are among the oldest and most innovative in the country, and our curriculum prepares students with skills, experiences and perspectives to think critically and adapt to new challenges.
