Police: Seneca Falls driver failed to utilize ignition interlock device

On Wednesday at 2:28 pm the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested a 54-year-old man was arrested on Fall Street after a traffic stop.

James C. Reardon, age 54, of Seneca Falls was stopped on Fall Street, according to police, who say he failed to stop at a stop sign.



After stopping him police checked the DMV database and learned that Reardon had a revoked drivers license. Additionally, he had a restriction on his license requiring any vehicle that he operate to have an ignition interlock device.

He was issued tickets for aggravated unlicensed operating in the second degree; operating a vehicle out of ignition interlock restriction, both misdemeanors; failing to stop at a stop sign and unlicensed operator, both violations.

Reardon is scheduled to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on July 19th at 10:00 am.
