The impending demolition by the state of a city landmark on the campus of the Cornell Ag Station is off.
According to Acting City Manager Sage Gerling, the state has reversed course on a planned demolition of Parrott Hall that was expected to start this week. Instead, it will work on a plan to preserve the first research building on what is now called Cornell AgriTech at the New York State Agricultural Experiment Station.
