Deputies: Waterloo man possessed Suboxone at local jail

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Saturday members of the narcotics unit arrested a Waterloo man on drug charges after an investigation at the Seneca County Correctional Facility.

Shane W. Harris, 28, was charged with one count Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and one count of Promoting Prison Contraband, both Class A Misdemeanors.



The arrest stems from an incident at the Seneca County Correctional Facility where Harris was found to be in possession of Suboxone, while an inmate within the jail.

He was released on appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear at the Town of Romulus Court on June 22nd.
