Seneca Falls Water Treatment Plant back to treating the water with Monochlorimines

UPDATE: The Town of Seneca Falls Water Treatment plant has resolved their equipment issues and are back to treating the water with Monochlorimines for disinfection. (4/16/18)

ORIGINAL REPORT:

The Town of Seneca Falls Water Department released a public notice on Tuesday morning stating that the Seneca Falls Water Treatment Plant is currently having equipment trouble. The water department will be resorting to their original form of disinfectant with free chlorine. This does not affect the way Town of Seneca Falls residents use their water in anyway. Once the equipment that uses Monochlorimines to disinfect is repaired, the Town of Seneca Falls Water Department will issue an update.
