Sidibe’s career night lifts Orange at Pitt, 60-55 (full coverage)

Freshman Bourama Sidibe totaled career-highs of 18 points, 16 rebounds and three blocks to lead Syracuse (15-6, 4-4 ACC) past Pittsburgh (8-14, 0-9 ACC), 60-55, Saturday afternoon in the Petersen Events Center. The Orange held the Panthers to 27.7 percent (18-of-65) shooting from the field.

Sophomore Tyus Battle added 14 points with five boards, freshman Oshae Brissett finished with nine points and eight rebounds and freshman Marek Dolezaj recorded seven points and five rebounds in his first career start.

Syracuse looks for its third consecutive win when it heads to Pittsburgh on Saturday for a 4 p.m. tip-off at the Petersen Events Center. The meeting between the two schools is the second in 11 days. The game will be televised on ACC Network and on the Watch ESPN app. Fans can also listen to the live broadcast on the Syracuse IMG Radio Network.
