Bath teen faces felony charges after assault, stabbing at Snell Farm

State Police in Bath say they were called to the report of an assault in progress at Snell Farm, located on Snell Hill Road this week.

Tyler J. Lautner, 18, of Bath was charged with second-degree attempted assault, two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief, and criminal possession of a weapon.



It is alleged that, while at Snell Farms, Lautner was involved in a physical altercation with a staff member. During the altercation, Lautner stabbed the staff member with a pencil, intentionally damaged property and prevented the staff member from contacting 911.

He was arraigned before the town of Bath Judge Chauncey Watches. Lautner was remanded to the Steuben County Jail in lieu of $3,000 cash bail or $6,000 property bond. According to police, he is scheduled to reappear in the town of Bath court.
