The arctic cold blast isn’t set to arrive in the Finger Lakes until later tonight but heavy snow and wind has been plaguing travel and prompting school activity closures on Thursday afternoon. South Seneca Central School District was the first to announce an early dismissal late this morning. One of the cancellations is the Wayne at Mynderse varsity basketball game that was set to stream live on FingerLakes1.com at 7:30 pm. The scheduled webcast for Friday night’s Clyde-Savannah at Lyons varsity basketball game is also in question.
