The Town Board Wednesday appointed two new members to the town Zoning Board of Appeals and re-appointed a Planning Board member to a new, seven-year term.
Thomas Grasek and Michael Elliott were named to the ZBA to replace Richard Bloss and Richard Worrell, both of whom resigned as of Dec. 31. Bloss had served as chairman of the ZBA.
Cynthia Meckley was re-appointed to the Planning Board.
The Planning Board and ZBA may be involved in the review and consideration of approval for the proposed $365 million waste-to-energy facility from Circular EnerG LLC of Rochester for a 48-acre parcel on the former Seneca Army Depot.
The developer is seeking site plan approval and a special-use permit for the project, which also will need six state permits and an approval from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
