Pats’ Gronkowski suspended for dirty hit during Bills game

The NFL has suspended Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski for one game for his hit on Bills cornerback Tre’Davious White on Sunday.

Gronkowski leaped on the rookie cornerback following a play in the fourth quarter, hitting White — who couldn’t defend himself — in the back of the head.

In a letter to Gronkowski, NFL Vice President of Football Operations Jon Runyan said, ““Your actions were not incidental, could have been avoided and placed the opposing player at risk of serious injury.”
