Rochester man charged with trespassing in Palmyra

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 34-year-old Rochester man following an incident at a residence in Wayne County.

Deputies say George Haag, of Rochester entered and remained unlawfully in a residence in Palmyra after being told to leave by the resident.



Haag was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and was arraigned in Palmyra Town Court.

A stay away order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim, and Haag was committed to the Wayne County Jail in lieu of $250 cash bail or $500 secured bond.

The charges will be answered in Palmyra Town Court at a later date.
