Four sent to Syracuse hospital after Fleming crash

Four people were injured and sent to Syracuse-area hospitals following a crash that took place on Dunning Avenue in Fleming.

The crash happened around 6:15 pm, and reported it taking place at 5495 Dunning Avenue. Cayuga County 911 says that Fleming and Owasco fire departments were called to the scene. Fleming, AMR, TLC, and Jordan ambulances were also called – and even a Mercy Flight helicopter.



Four people were able to get out of the vehicle on their own, but they were all taken to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, according to 911. The extent of their injuries was not known.

The scene was cleared hours later, but no additional information on the cause of the accident was released.
