Reports indicate that a car collided with at least one utility pole in Phelps on Saturday.
The accident happened a little after 2:30 pm, and resulted in one- or two poles being sheered off. Utility companies were called to the scene to contend with the damaged poles, but reports also indicate that the driver was still inside the vehicle when crews were called.

The crash happened directly in front of the Phelps Community Bank located at 1334 Rt. 96.
