Since the beginning of this school year, Interim Superintendent William Locke has been filling the position of School Superintendent for Dryden Schools. He will stay with us until the end of this school year in June 2018. In the meantime, the search for our new superintendent is on.
To facilitate the process, TST BOCES District Superintendent Dr. Jeffrey Matteson, will share information regarding the search process at a Community Forum from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Thursday in the Middle School Cafeteria. There will be small working groups with a team from BOCES who will be getting input from those in attendance.
Dryden’s Board of Education will be conducting a Community Survey on the Superintendent Search. The survey will be open from through Sunday, Nov. 12. Surveys can be accessed on paper and online. Paper versions of the survey will be made available in all Dryden School Offices, at the Southworth Library, and at the Dryden Community Café. They will also be available at Thursday’s Community Forum. Community members can also access the survey electronically by visiting the school’s website at www.dryden.k12.ny.us and click on the survey link.
