The Committee to Elect Dom Vedora Ontario County Supervisor announced today that Democratic and Working Families Party candidate Dom Vedora had garnered the endorsement of five area unions including: The Finger Lakes Building Trades Council, CSEA Local 835, IBEW 840, Laborers’ IU of North America 835 and the Rochester Building and Construction Trades Council.
Mike Davis, Business Manager of IBEW 840 said, “I am pleased to extend, from both of the organizations I represent, our endorsement of your candidacy for County Supervisor, Wards 1 and 2.”
“I was a proud, active union member when I was employed as a mason working shoulder to shoulder with men and women who worked hard for their pay and benefits. The quality of our work stands today as testament of the work we performed. That is why it is so satisfying now as I run again for public office to be supported by the hundreds of union workers in our community.”
