Gov. Andrew Cuomo delivered two more big checks to New York communities Wednesday.
The Bronx and city of Kingston are the latest winners of the state’s Downtown Revitalization Initiative, which awards $10 million to support projects in each community.
Since launching the second round of the Downtown Revitalization Initiative last spring, Cuomo has announced six winners. One of the regions he hasn’t visited to reveal the $10 million winner is central New York.
The city of Auburn is competing against four central New York municipalities for the $10 million prize. The other competitors are Cazenovia, Cortland, Fulton and Syracuse.
