It’s not going to feel like the end of August in the Finger Lakes.
Some scattered showers during the morning hours will lead to much chillier weather for the next 48 hours. Daytime high temperatures will struggle to get into the mid-60s, with overnight lows struggling to stay in the upper-40s.
The upside is that the holiday weekend looks solid. Whether it’s outdoor activity on Saturday, Sunday or Monday — as temperatures moderate — the risk of rain remains low. The best chance for showers looks like Monday.
