On Monday at approximately 5:01 pm deputies responded to the intersection of County Rd. 30 and New Michigan Rd. for a personal injury accident.
Upon arrival, it was confirmed that two cars were involved in an accident and collided at the intersection.
Deputies say Richard G. Trotta, 63, of Macedon was traveling south on New Michigan Rd. when he attempted to make an east turn onto County Rd. 30 and failed to yield the right of way for Kyle Lloyd, 26, of Bloomfield.
Trotta was transported to Thompson Hospital. Neither Lloyd, nor his passenger, Shannon M. Petterson, 25, of Bloomfield were injured in the accident.
Trotta was issued a traffic ticket for failure to yield the right of way. East Bloomfield Holcomb Fire Department responded and assisted at the scene.
