Deputies arrested a 42-year-old Hopewell father after he allegedly allowed his son to walk from Hopewell to Lockport.
Clinton Matthew Simmons, 42, of Hopewell was charged with endangering the welfare of a child after deputies say he allowed his 14-year-old son to walk from Hopewell to an unknown location in Lockport.
He was issued appearance tickets and will answer the charge at a later date.
