Kristina ‘Kitty’ Karle of Honeoye, has collected enough signatures to qualify on the Republican, Conservative, Independence, and Reform party lines in this year’s race for Ontario County District Attorney, according to her team.
Qualification for each of these lines requires the candidate to get a certain number of signatures from members of each party. In total Karle got the nod from 2,380 residents from across Ontario County to run on the four lines in this year’s election.
On qualifying, Ms. Karle said: “I have greatly appreciated the opportunity to go door-to-door and share my experiences as a prosecutor, to share my qualifications and my passion to become the next Ontario County District Attorney, and to listen to the concerns and ideas of the community. Thank you to everyone who has participated in the process by passing petitions, and thank you to those who signed the designating petitions to allow me to run.”
“I am truly honored to be on the ballot come November 7th, but first I am setting my focus on the Republican primary on September 12th, 2017, and would appreciate the voters’ support on that day. I am born and raised in Ontario County and am a lifelong Republican. The time for change in the D.A.’s office is now, and I have the experience, the leadership skills, and the integrity to fulfill the awesome responsibility of District Attorney.”
